I help homeowners, landlords, and real estate investors achieve higher returns
A good idea is not yet a feasible design
Many people know what they like, but struggle to translate their ideas into concrete plans. Insufficient insight into layout, dimensions, or technical connections leads to miscommunication with contractors and additional costs during implementation.
Interior design that is technically correct and feasible
With a professional interior design, you’ll gain immediate clarity and a workable plan (check my blog on why you should hire an interior designer). I develop each design into clear 2D and 3D interior layouts. These include not only colors, materials, and furniture, but also the exact locations of electrical, water, and drainage points. This allows our professionals to get started on the design right away.

Interior design that increases revenue and property value
€41,000 increase in value after complete apartment renovation
The dated apartment in the example above was purchased in late 2024 for €84,000 and completely renovated in early 2025 for just over €10,000, incorporating new interior designs. The total investment was €94,000. The apartment now has a market value of €135,000. This represents a €41,000 increase in value (partly due to annual property price increases, but largely due to the complete renovation).
Substantial profit of over €100,000 after renovating a dilapidated house
A local contractor and an investor purchased a dilapidated house for €120,000. It required extensive work, both inside and out. A total of just under €100,000 was invested in renovating everything. Kitchen, bathrooms, electrical work, built-in wardrobes, window replacement, masonry and plasterwork renovation, stair renovation, garden fencing, electric gate, painting, etc. The house is for sale for €340,000 and will generate a profit of €120,000 upon sale, thanks in part to new interior designs

From design to carefree implementation
A technically sound interior design makes the project run more efficiently. The workers know exactly what needs to be done, and clients maintain an overview of the final result. This prevents improvisation during construction and ensures an interior that’s perfect down to the last detail.

Frequently asked questions about interior design
How much does it cost to have an interior design made?
The price of an interior design is always custom-made and depends on the scope of the project, the number of rooms, and the desired finish. After an initial consultation, I will provide a competitive quote so that you know exactly where you stand.
As a reference: an interior design for an apartment or holiday home in Crete, including 3D visualizations and 2D floor plans, typically falls within the range of €500 to €2,000, depending on the complexity and the number of rooms.
Interior design is an investment that pays for itself. A well-furnished holiday apartment in Crete, for example, demonstrably generates more revenue per night. I have clients whose rental price rose from €80 to €125 per night after an interior renovation based on my design. That is an extra €6,300 per year.
How long does an interior design take?
The turnaround time depends on the scope of the project and the speed at which the necessary information becomes available. For a single room, you can expect one to two weeks. For a complete house or entire apartment, it can take three to four weeks.
Before I start, I need photos of the space, floor plans with dimensions, and clarity regarding style and color preferences. The more complete the information provided, the faster I can work and the more targeted the design will be.
For renovation projects in Crete, I work closely with a local contractor who handles the execution. The schedule is then coordinated with the availability of materials and contractors, which can affect the total turnaround time.
What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior stylist?
An interior stylist focuses primarily on the atmosphere and styling of a space. Think of selecting furniture, accessories, colors, and fabrics. In most cases, the spatial layout and structural aspects fall outside their scope.
An interior designer goes a step further. They also consider the spatial layout, functionality, lighting points, water and electrical points, and feasibility from a structural perspective. The design is suitable as a working drawing for a contractor.
I work as an interior designer. My 3D visualizations and 2D floor plans are technically detailed enough to serve as a basis for a renovation. Contractors work directly with my designs.
Can an interior design also be created remotely?
Yes. I create interior designs remotely, for example for clients in the Netherlands who want to have a house or apartment furnished. For this, I need photos of the space and floor plans with exact measurements. These can also be taken on-site by the contractor.
I discuss your wishes and preferences via video call. In the meantime, I share the 3D visualizations digitally so that you can see exactly what the space will look like after the renovation. Adjustments are incorporated based on your feedback.
Working remotely does not affect the quality of the design. Most clients even find it pleasant because everything is done digitally and flexibly. You do not need to be present to follow the process.
Is the interior design suitable for my contractor?
Yes. The 2D floor plans I create are technically detailed and, upon request, also include dimensions, water points, and electrical outlets. A contractor can start working with these drawings immediately.
For renovation projects in Crete, I work closely with a local contractor. He is familiar with my working methods and knows how to translate my designs into execution. This collaboration ensures a smooth process from design to completion.
Do you have your own contractor? Then I will provide the files in the formats he requires. I always ensure a smooth handover so that there is no loss of translation between the design and what is ultimately built.
Do you also create 3D visualizations of interiors?
Yes. I create 3D visualizations in SketchUp. This allows you to see what the space will look like after the renovation begins. This prevents expensive surprises and makes it easier to make choices regarding colors, materials, and layouts.
A 3D visualization is also valuable as a communication tool for the contractor. What is sometimes difficult to read on paper is immediately apparent in a three-dimensional image. This reduces the chance of misunderstandings during the execution phase.
I share the 3D images digitally. You can view them from various angles, and I create additional renders of specific angles or details upon request. This gives you a complete picture of the final result before a single tile is laid.
For which projects can you design an interior?
I design interiors for private homes, holiday apartments, and rental properties. Many of my commissions come through local contractors who refer their clients to me for the interior part of their renovations.
Crete has its own unique challenges and opportunities regarding materials, climate, and style. I know the local market, work with reliable contractors, and know which choices work well in Crete and which do not.
Are you thinking of buying and renovating a home or apartment in Crete? Or do you already have a rental property that is due for a refresh? I would be happy to brainstorm with you about the possibilities and what benefits you can expect.
Can you also furnish a holiday home or rental property in Crete?
Yes. This is a growing part of my work. Holiday rental owners in Crete who invest in a professional interior see their rental prices rise and receive better reviews. This leads to more bookings and higher occupancy.
I design the interior, including 3D visualizations and floor plans. I leave the execution to local contractors and suppliers. Upon request, I also help with style choices that suit the target audience you wish to reach.
A concrete example: a client rented out an apartment for €80 per night. After an interior renovation based on my design, the rental price rose to €125 per night. On an annual basis, that is €6,300 in extra revenue. The design more than pays for itself.
